The story behind Mr. Sato
Mr. Sato is led by our new Sushi Chef, Den Chu, who, together with Executive Chef Denny van Veen, brings Asian cuisine to life in Noordwijk. Den Chu began his culinary career at a young age, as his parents owned several Vietnamese restaurants across the Netherlands. He continued his career at other restaurants, where he had the opportunity to work alongside Japanese Sushi Chefs who taught him the intricacies of sushi preparation. He also collaborated with a Sushi Chef who earned a Michelin star for a restaurant in Amsterdam. Den Chu says: “I have always had a passion for Asian cuisine.” From now on, Den Chu will introduce Noordwijk to the authentic flavors of Asian cuisine.
